Worn under Sheriff Nowlin on a green uniform.
Third Issue: 2008-2015
Sheriff Gerald A. Wallace was appointed in March 2005 then elected. He changed the patch in 2008 on the black uniforms then changed the uniforms to a heather gray shirt for a softer look. Thanks to Sheriff Wallace for the information and this patch!

Second Issue: 1988-2008
Designed by Sheriff Tim Wood, this patch was worn 1988-2008 on a light tan shirt with light tan pants. In 1998, Sheriff Joey Chavez was elected and this patch was worn on a black shirt and black pants.
First Issue: Worn 1968-1988
Sheriff Thomas E. Watson who was elected November 1966 decided the Office needed some professionalism and uniforms as well as formal training for deputies. Sheriff Watson instituted a brown shirt with this patch worn with jeans. Sheriff Watson served until 1972.
